We had a wonderful Christmas 2008. Our morning started about 7:30am at our house, the boys got their Santa gifts and then opened the gifts we gave them and then we headed to my parent's house, we had to be there by 9am. After that we quickly went home and showered and we were at the Hickey's at 1pm for lunch and gifts. After the Hickey's we headed home for about 30 minutes to do a clean sweep though our house as we had invited some friends over to hang out that night. Before we could hang out with our friends it was back to my parent's house at 6pm for our family Christmas dinner and then hurried home to greet the first house guest. Can you say busy day? The good thing is that my parent's and Reagan's parents live a few blocks from one another and neither one of them live more then a mile or two from us. It was great spending time with our families and friends, to me that is what makes Christmas so special. My kids got so many gifts that you can barely walk in the playroom, I will be doing some reorganization this weekend for sure! I will try and post some pictures soon of our crazy Christmas day.

Christmas is fast approaching and we have been as busy as can be. Reagan was gone for 7 nights this month. I was trying to take the kids to anything that was festive for the holidays. We went to the tree lighting on the Square in downtown Denton (our home!), the Adophus/Neiman Marcus Christmas parade in downtown Dallas, The Christmas Capital of Texas (AKA downtown Grapevine), and Southlake town center for shopping and a photo with Santa. We have had school parties and done lots of shopping, it's been a busy busy holiday season but we have had fun. We are looking forward to seeing the boys reactions on Christmas morning, Santa is bringing them shiny red motorcylces that they can ride on. I am hoping it will be a pretty day because I am sure we will spend lots of time outside. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! Hopefully in 2009 I will be better at keeping my blog up to date.

Houston weekend

This past weekend Reagan and I went to Houston to Mark and Courtney's annual Fall Bash. It was so fun to go and see everyone, the party was amazing. Thanks Mark and Courtney for a fun weekend, looking forward to next year.
